Postpartum Foundations of Strength

This is an in-person, six week long program designed for recently postpartum moms (6 weeks - 12 months) who are looking for community, support and guidance on how to return to fitness safely and effectively after pregnancy.

Each class is comprised of education + movement. We will rehab & reconnect to our core and pelvic floor, while progressing through foundational strength patterns and exercise.

Who is this class for?

  • Ideal for newly postpartum moms (6 weeks - 1 year)*

  • Safe for post vaginal & cesarean delivery*

  • Designed for women of all fitness levels and backgrounds

  • Those struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction & other postpartum related symptoms

  • New moms looking to build connections with other supportive women

*Healthcare provider clearance required prior to participation

What we’ll learn:

  • Overview of pelvic floor anatomy and function

  • Breathing mechanics to develop deep core and pelvic floor connection.

  • Correlate functional movement to daily activities

  • Foundational movement patterns & Strength building

  • How to progressively overload your workouts to safely return to fitness postpartum

  • Return to Run Considerations

  • Intimate small group setting

  • 12 in-person sessions

  • Postpartum focused movement progressions & exercises

  • 12 additional home workouts

  • Private slack channel access for questions between classes

 FAQs

  • Water bottle, change of shoes (clean dry gym shoes), yoga mat (optional)

  • Yes! Non mobile babies are welcome, or those still easily contained in a car seat/stroller/pack n’ play for safety reasons.

  • No worries! Take the time you need and hop back in.

  • That’s okay! That’s what I’m here for. Everyone’s postpartum timeline looks different. I will tailor your movements each class to where YOU are at.

  • Life happens! Let me know and I will adapt the workout for you to complete at home.

  • I recommend a yoga mat, 1 light and 1 heavy set of DB’s or KB’s, resistance bands, pilates ball and/or yoga block.

  • Absolutely. Especially if you are still experiencing symptoms such as leakage/incontinence, diastasis, pain, prolapse. If you aren’t sure if this class is right for you, hop on a discovery call or send me an email or DM with your questions!
